Анотація
Програма вивчення варіативної навчальної дисципліни «Психолого-педагогічна підготовка дітей до школи» складена для всіх спеціальностей. Навчальна дисципліна «Психолого-педагогічна підготовка дітей до школи» спрямована на формування у студентів уявлення про зміст психолого-педагогічної підготовки дітей до школи. Вивчити психологічні особливості дітей старшого дошкільного віку, сформувати систему знань щодо концепцій, напрямів та теорій дитячого розвитку психіки; з’ясувати психологічні та педагогічні складові готовності дитини до школи; визначити структуру теоретичних та практичних знань з дисципліни.
В результаті опанування курсу студент буде мати базові психологічні знання з психології та педагогіки як інтегрованих галузей знань; організувати психолого-педагогічний розвиток та виховання; актуалізувати знання у галузі психології, соціології і педагогіки з проблем соціалізації, виховання, розвитку, навчання; діагностувати та оцінювати рівень психічного розвитку дитини; використовувати основи теорії навчання і виховання на практичних заняттях та під час педагогічної практики.

Аbstract
The programme of study of the variable discipline ‘Psychological and Pedagogical Preparation of Children for School’ is designed for all specialities. The discipline ‘Psychological and Pedagogical Preparation of Children for School’ is aimed at forming students' understanding of the content of psychological and pedagogical preparation of children for school. To study the psychological characteristics of children of senior preschool age, to form a system of knowledge about the concepts, directions and theories of child mental development; to find out the psychological and pedagogical components of a child's readiness for school; to determine the structure of theoretical and practical knowledge in the discipline.
As a result of completing the course, the student will have basic psychological knowledge of psychology and pedagogy as integrated branches of knowledge; organise psychological and pedagogical development and education; update knowledge in the field of psychology, sociology and pedagogy on the problems of socialisation, upbringing, development, learning; diagnose and assess the level of mental development of the child; use the basics of the theory of education and upbringing in practical classes and during pedagogical practice.
